ERP, CRM and system integration
An order need not end with someone entering it into another system by hand. For an integration, we establish which system owns each piece of data, when it should be transferred and what happens if something goes wrong. Then we design and deliver a connection that follows those rules.
Discuss your briefDoes this sound familiar?
- People re-enter orders, contacts or job statuses across systems.
- Each department sees a different status for the same process.
- An existing integration lacks clear error messages and transfer monitoring.
- A new portal needs data from internal tools.
From a process to a solution.
The scope follows your brief. Together, we will prepare these steps and deliverables:
- A map of data flows and rules for data ownership.
- A review of the interfaces, access and capabilities of existing systems.
- API integration, synchronisation or event processing as required.
- Handling of errors, repeated transfers and exceptions.
- Integration documentation and an agreed approach to operational monitoring.
Experience from a real project.
Questions about the solution.
Can you connect a system without a modern API?
We first check the available interfaces, exports and vendor support. We propose a suitable connection based on those options and explain its limitations. The system's name alone does not tell us which approach will work.
What happens when one system is unavailable?
During design, we agree on what should happen during an outage: retaining the task, retrying the transfer, sending an alert and, where needed, a manual review. We test exceptions alongside successful transfers.
