Business process automation
Automation starts with a recurring process: receiving a request, adding information, seeking approval or distributing a result. We help distinguish the steps that can be automated from the decisions that should stay with a person.
Discuss your briefDoes this sound familiar?
- People copy the same data or send the same messages repeatedly.
- Approvals get lost in email and nobody knows who should act next.
- Exceptions bypass the standard procedure without a traceable record.
- Shared content is updated manually in several places.
From a process to a solution.
The scope follows your brief. Together, we will prepare these steps and deliverables:
- A map of the standard process and its exceptions.
- Rules for approval, responsibilities and task handovers.
- Automated transfers, notifications and processing to suit the brief.
- AI where a step calls for working with unstructured content.
- A comparison of the original and new processes using agreed measures.
Experience from a real project.
Questions about the solution.
Does automation always need AI?
No. When the rules are clear, connecting systems or using a standard workflow is often enough. We consider AI for text, documents or inputs that vary in structure.
How do we measure whether automation was worthwhile?
Before starting, we establish a baseline and agree on how to measure the result. Measures might include processing time, manual steps or corrections. We also account for review time and operating costs.
